Stellarium é uma aplicação planetário de código aberto, proporcionando um céu realista e preciso em 3D, como se os usuários estavam olhando através de um telescópio.
A última versão disponível é Stellarium 0.14.1, que traz um grande salto em frente na precisão astronômica para aplicações históricas, sendo adicionado os recursos abaixo:
